Is our Fed Notes money, or is Gold money?

Ron Paul announced today that he was ending his 23+ year Congressional career, to focus on his run for the presidency and his Campaign for Liberty foundation.  I feel that this is a great move.  As more Americans hear the double-speak coming out of the Beltway, we are gaining the knowledge that allows us to understand that the political scene in our country is full of pretentious disinformation.  We understand that it is time for sound debate, sound logic, sound conclusions.  We understand that it is time for complete reformation of our political climate.  We are living in historic, epic times that will cause citizens, 30-50 years from now to ask the old ones.....what did you do during the revolution that brought us back to Common Sense ?

Today, Ron Paul, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, asks some very important questions of Mr. Bernanke.....and Bernanke gave answers that we can ALL see and hear are truly not the answers we would have expected.  Listen as Bernanke fumbles for his words which are nothing but more double-speak.

I feel we are now going to see a more intense and deliberate side of Dr Paul in the months to come.  It is time for REAL change, time for Ron Paul in 2012.

Capitol Hill man beats the TSA, acquitted of charges in New Mexico ID case

Capitol Hill software developer, civil liberties advocate, member of the Hill's Chamber of Commerce and, yes, frequent CHS commenter Phil Mocek announced this weekend that he was acquitted of all charges stemming from his arrest after refusing to show identification to TSA agents at the Albuquerque airport in November 2009.

Mocek was in New Mexico this week to be tried on misdemeanor charges including concealing his identity from officers who responded when he tried to pass through airport security without an ID in the 2009 incident. Mocek had been in the state to attend the International Drug Policy Reform Conference on behalf of the Cannabis Defense Coalition. He recorded video of his interaction with the TSA agents and police officers in the incident, a portion of which Mocek has posted online (and we've embedded in this post).
Seattle Weekly reports it took the New Mexico jury all of an hour to find Mocek not guilty.

Up here in the Northern part of North Dakota we just recovered from a Historic event --- may I even say a "Weather Event" of "Biblical Proportions" --- with a historic blizzard of up to 25’ of snow and winds to 50 MPH that broke trees in half, knocked down utility poles, stranded hundreds of motorists in lethal snow banks, closed ALL roads, isolated scores of communities and cut power to 10 ' s of thousands.

FYI:

Obama did not come.

FEMA did nothing.

No one howled for the government.

No one blamed the government.

No one even uttered an expletive on TV.

Jesse Jackson or Al Sharp ton did not visit.

Our Mayors did not blame Obama or anyone else.

Our Governor did not blame Obama or anyone else either.

CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX, or NBC did not visit - or even report on this category 5   snow storm. 

Nobody demanded $2,000 debit cards.
No one asked for a FEMA Trailer House.
No one looted.
Nobody - I mean Nobody demanded the government do something.
Nobody expected the government to do anything either.
No Larry King, No Bill O ' Reilly, No Oprah, No Chris Mathews and No Geraldo Rivera.
No Shaun Penn, No Barbara Streisand,  No Brad Pitts, No Hollywood types to be found.

Nope, we just melted the snow for water.
Sent out caravans of SUV 's to pluck people out of snow engulfed cars.
The truck drivers pulled people out of snow banks and didn’t ' t ask for a penny.
Local restaurants made food, and the police and fire departments delivered it to the snow bound families..
Families took in the stranded people - total strangers. 

We fired up wood stoves, broke out coal oil lanterns or Coleman lanterns.
We put on an extra layers of clothes because up here it is "Work or Die".
We did not wait for some affirmative action government to get us out of a mess created by being immobilized by a welfare program that trades votes for ' sitting at home ' checks.

Even though a  Category 5 blizzard of this scale is not usual, we know it can happen and how to deal with it ourselves. 

I hope this gets passed on.

ObamaCare.......26 NO..24?

Well, looks like the verdict is in.....26 states are now joining in the suit regarding forced healthcare.  It seems that there is no need for a suit, simply a gubernatorial vote would suffice, after all this IS a Democracy within a Republic...Isn't it?...
